Hi, my name is Raakesh Chandrasekaran, an experienced software engineer/developer, data science enthusiast, passionate programmer graduated from Wright State University Dayton, Ohio, April 2018. I began my coding career back in my bachelor's degree and have not looked back. I instigated my coding calling back in my under graduate days and have not looked back. In addition to twenty-four months plus of graduate level research experience in IBM Watson's Natural Language Understanding (IBM's Machine Learning's NLP) involving Java, Python, I have twenty-four months of industry experience in software development as Project Engineer/ETL Developer.
I was enthusiastically involved in a NSF funded research project studying about the past disaster management reports and analyzing the sentiment of the reports and developed a case-based reasoning tool to help the first responders. My graduate level programming experience has been predominately centric on Java, Python, C++ and Web development Technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, Ajax.
I associated with KGS Technology, Alpharetta GA as Java Developer Intern, to stay focus on career goal and sharp my programming skills by developing /enhancing applications using Java Multithreading and Hibernate mappings. I also had privileged experience at Lextech Inc., Centerville OH as Intern, where I was involved in projects based on C#, Umbraco CMS, JavaScript. Strengthening my Java and J2EE skills, I have been succeeding in Oracle Certification Path in Java SE 8. I’m Oracle Certified Associate in Java SE 8 and also in PLSQL.
